BROOMFIELD, Colorado- December 12, 2021, Wine Country Network, Inc, announced that the 2022 Denver International Spirits Competition is now accepting spirit entries.
The Denver International Spirits Competition (DISC) is the region’s largest double-blind professional spirits competition. The DISC is one of only a handful of other international spirit competitions worldwide (San Francisco, Berlin, London, New York).
Spirits judging is done on a 100-point scale and by price categories, yielding the fairest ratings. Judges cast their votes for the best spirit entries in more than 120 different types, including the soon-to-be TBB standard for American Single Malt Whiskey.
The competition team has expanded to manage growing entries of RTD (Ready-To-Drink) premixed cocktails. Top-scored distilleries receive handsome die-cast award medals, royalty-free promotional artwork, and valuable media exposure.
Wine Country Network is now assembling a prestigious panel of more than 30 of the nation’s most respected spirits authorities to participate. For 2022, the competition is taking extra measures to protect its staff and judges during the Pandemic.
The competition is open to craft distillers, spirit marketers, merchant bottlers, commercial distilleries, and duty-free spirits producers. Producers, importers, and distributors are now encouraged to enter their products online before March 1, 2022.
Entry fee: $400, enter and pay before 12/31/21, and save $50 with code: FRENCH50
The competition also runs a packaging and design contest. Beverage packaging and design is an essential parts of brand marketing and success. Entrants may enter single bottles or a series of bottles to be judged by art directors and retailers. Entry Fee: $175
