Wine Country Network, Inc, publishers of Wine Country International Magazine, also produce 6 annual professional blind judging competitions.

 

We are excited to announce the dates for the 2018 Denver International Spirits Competition

on March 3 & 4, 2018.  This double blind competition will be based on a 100 point scale and we will judge spirits (fairly) by price categories.

We are now assembling a prestigious panel of 30 of America’s most respected spirits authorities to participate in the largest professional spirits competition in the Rocky Mountain Region. We aim to judge based on the highest standards and build a reputation that rivals current competitions that are held in California, New York as well as London.

We are the most cost effective International Spirits Competition on the planet!

 

Judges will cast their votes for the best spirit entries in as many as 102 different categories. They will award medals for first (GOLD), second (SILVER) and third (BRONZE) place for each qualifying category and best of show. Double-Gold medals are also granted for highest scored in a category.

 

The DISC is now paperless, all entries are completed online  via The DataStill.COM.

 

2018 Entry Fee: $300

 

Special Early-Bird Discounts Offered for entries that are completed and paid for during the
month of November 2017.

2018 Denver International Spirits Packaging and Design Contest

Wine Country Network, Inc, producers of the highly respected Denver International Wine Competition and The Denver International Beer Competition, will conduct the 7th Annual Denver International Spirits Competition on March 3 & 4, 2018.

 

2018 Packaging & Design Contest

Label and packaging design is the most important ingredient in spirit sales and marketing. It has been proven that a great design can have a major impact on sales. Graphics, color schemes, font styles and font sizes are combined to create an attractive label.

The Denver International Spirits Competition will assemble a panel of nationally recognized professional graphic designers, art directors and wine retailers to select the best spirits packaging designs from the competition.

Medals will be awarded for Double Gold, Gold, Silver and Bronze awards.

 

Award categories include:

 • Best design

 • Best Packaging Series

 • Most Original Product Design

Judging panel consists of retailers, artists and graphic designers.
